MUTERRA is building the first layer of characters for the Who Was on RAOLAX? stage. This task is about creating a character who can become more than a short text: someone artists can draw, video creators can film, writers can expand, and the project can later use in comics, NFTs, game materials or canon.
You can start from an existing MUTERRA character or create a new one. If you create a new character, they must fit the MUTERRA lore and setting: far-future sci-fi, modified bodies, advanced technologies, social status, hidden motives and believable future societies.
A strong character is not just a biography. It is a structure: status, profession, motivation, secret, conflict, behaviour, voice and arc.
Useful guide: How to Create Characters
Most current character images are references, not final designs.
Use them as a starting point for mood, role, status, body type, costume and personality. Do not copy them directly — help us develop original MUTERRA characters for future canon, videos, comics, NFTs and game content.
Create a character story for MUTERRA.
You can write a full character profile or one strong fragment: name, profession, origin, status, motivation, secret, conflict, behaviour, voice, visual idea or future arc.
You can start from an existing MUTERRA character or create a new one. If you use an existing character, open their page first and build from what is already there.
Example of a described character:
Captain’s Daughter
Attach references if they help explain your idea.
Useful references can include: clothing, posture, face type, body shape, hairstyle, status symbols, profession, environment, mood, culture, architecture, objects, gestures, colour direction or cinematic frame.
References do not need to be copied directly. They help artists, AI creators, 3D artists and video creators understand how the character should feel and look.
Identity and status: who they are, where they come from, what society, house, profession or system shaped them.
Motivation and goal: what they want openly, what they want secretly, and what they refuse to admit even to themselves.
Conflict: what pressures them, breaks them, limits them or forces them to act.
Secret: what they hide, what is hidden from them, or what could change how we see them.
Personality and behaviour: how they speak, move, decide, react, manipulate, protect, avoid or attack.
Arc: how they could change over time, especially after RAOLAX and MUTERRA.
Do not send a random mutation accident, monster origin or horror twist without a real character behind it.
Do not create a character only as a visual effect. MUTERRA characters need origin, role, status, motivation, weakness, secret, conflict and possible development.
Do not write long unfocused lore. A short, precise idea is better than a long text without a clear character.
You can submit your character story in two ways:
1. Through Discord
Join Discord, choose the Creator role and submit your work in the Creator Hub / writer submission flow.
2. Through comments on a character page
If you are writing for an existing character, you can leave a short idea directly in the comments under that character’s page.
For example:
Captain’s Daughter
Creator role and submit your work through the current writer submission flow or the Creator Hub.
If you are writing for an existing character, include the character page link.
If your text is long, submit a short pitch first and attach the full version as a document link.
We review character stories by:
Usefulness: can artists, video creators or writers use it?
Fit: does it match MUTERRA lore and setting?
Character strength: does the character have status, motivation, conflict, secret and arc?
Canon potential: can this idea become part of the official world?
Community reactions can help us notice strong ideas, but final canon approval is made by the MUTERRA founder / core team.
If your text is long, write a short pitch first and attach the full version as a document link.
Accepted work may receive USDT, MUTA with vesting, NFT rewards, authorship credit, visibility and Creator role growth.
Rewards depend on how useful the work becomes: whether it is selected, used by artists, turned into reels, developed into comics, connected to NFTs, reused in future tasks or moved toward canon.
If your character becomes part of MUTERRA canon and continues to grow inside the project, additional rewards may follow over time.
