Reels Script

Technical Task for writers and scene creators.

This task is about writing short cinematic scripts for MUTERRA reels.

You are not writing a full story. You are creating a scene blueprint for AI-video creators: what happens, what the viewer sees, how the character moves, how the camera works, what the scene feels like, what sound supports it, and why the final video should be worth watching.

Goal

Create a script for a 15–20 second cinematic reel.

The goal is not only to make a “nice video”. The goal is to create a reel that can get views, likes, reposts, comments and make people remember MUTERRA or Who Was on RAOLAX?

The best scripts are useful for video creators, clear enough to produce, and strong enough to be reused in different visual styles.

Start from characters

We recommend starting from existing MUTERRA characters⁠, especially characters that already have some visual or story direction.

You can also create a new character, but the script must fit the MUTERRA lore⁠ and setting⁠. You may expand the universe, but you cannot contradict existing lore, setting or canon direction.

If a script contradicts MUTERRA, it will not be accepted — even if the idea is visually strong.

Important: many current character images are references, not final production assets. Their appearance can change and often should change. Do not copy a reference blindly. Use it as a direction for status, mood, body type, costume, profession, behaviour and visual logic. A good script can help artists and animators create a new original version of the character that belongs to MUTERRA.

Write for the video creator

Your script must remove as much guesswork as possible.

Do not write only “a girl walks through a futuristic city” or “a man looks scared.” Describe what the video creator should actually see and hear: the character’s face, body, clothes, posture, objects, environment, light, camera angle, movement, sound and small details.

Think from general to specific:

Scene: where we are and what is happening.
Character: appearance, clothing, body language, eye movement, facial expression, emotion, status and visible details.
Action: what changes during the scene and how the character reacts.
Camera: close-up, wide shot, movement, cut, focus, rhythm.
Environment: architecture, weather, objects, background life, technology.
Sound: music, silence, breathing, mechanical noise, signal, impact, atmosphere.
Feeling: what the viewer should feel in this moment — tension, fear, beauty, pressure, mystery, awe, sadness or danger.
References: image references, style references, clothing references, pose references, environment references.

Imagine the video creator will not add anything by themselves. If you want a scar, sweat, a broken glove, a bandage, a nervous hand, a specific coat, a symbol, a cold light or a crowded background — write it or attach a reference.

A good script for MUTERRA is not only a story. It is a clear cinematic blueprint: reference + description, reference + description, reference + description.

Script structure

Use a clear sequence. It can be classic or experimental, but something must happen.

A good reel script may include:

Hook: what catches attention in the first seconds.
Beats: 3–6 short steps showing how the scene develops.
Turn: what changes in the moment.
Final image: what the viewer remembers after the video ends.

The scene can be quiet or intense, slow or fast, minimal or complex. But every shot must have a reason.

What to show

Show a character, a future society, a profession, a private decision, a strange detail, a hidden fear, a moment of status, a conflict, a ritual, a public event, a beautiful fragment of life or a turning point.

Do not make the story about RAOLAX itself.

Who Was on RAOLAX? is the campaign hook. It means this character could have been on RAOLAX. It does not mean the whole video must explain the ship, the route, the boarding, the crash or how the character got there.

Do not use the word RAOLAX inside the story unless it is absolutely necessary. Keep it for the final frame.

Style

The visual style can be different. We are experimenting.

It can be realistic, stylized, 3D-rendered, animated, archive-like, documentary-like, transmission-style or experimental. The important thing is that the scene feels cinematic and fits MUTERRA.

Think about future life, future bodies, future professions, future technologies and future pressure — not generic sci-fi decoration.

What not to do

Do not use mutation, crash, laboratory accident or “waking up as a monster” as a default shortcut.

Do not write fantasy, magic, superhero logic, plague-doctor horror, generic AI chaos or scenes that contradict the world.

Do not write a static scene with one camera and no development.

Do not explain everything with text or voice-over.

Do not create a script that video creators cannot visualize.

The title should feel cinematic, not like a flat label. It can appear through motion, light, interface, glitch, organic growth, doors, snow, dust, signal or another effect that fits the scene.

Review and use

Submit your script in Discord after choosing the Creator role.

A script can be approved, sent back for revision, shortlisted as a brief, or published for video creators to use.

Several creators may create different videos from one script. The stronger and more usable your script is, the more valuable it becomes.

Rewards

Approved scripts may receive an initial reward.

If video creators use your script, adapt it into reels, get strong results with it, or if the scene moves toward canon, you may receive additional rewards.

Rewards may include USDT, MUTA with vesting, NFT rewards, authorship credit, visibility, Creator role growth and access to stronger tasks.

The best scripts are not judged only by text quality. They are judged by use: how many creators want to work with them, how strong the final videos are, and what reach those videos can get.
