MUTERRA is a far-future world we are building together. We are open to different visual styles: realism, stylized realism, 3D, animation, archive footage, transmission, or experimental formats — closer to the variety of Love, Death & Robots than to one fixed visual rule.

The main goal is to show an interesting character, a powerful moment, or a fragment of life from the MUTERRA universe. The scene can be tense, strange, beautiful, dangerous, quiet or emotional — but it must feel intentional. We need to see character, atmosphere, conflict, inner change, choice or a turning point.

Do not explain the whole story. Mystery is good at this stage. A strong video should leave the feeling that there is a larger world behind the scene: a future society, culture, status, profession, hidden conflict, personal secret, fear, ambition or transformation.

Tell through cinema. Use environment, costume, posture, facial expression, movement, camera angle, pacing, sound, silence, light, editing and the character’s reaction to what is happening. Show more than you explain.

If your style, character or story fits the lore, setting and canon of MUTERRA, it can become part of the world. Canon-level work can lead to stronger rewards, a higher role in the project and access to more important creative tasks.

You can create a video based on:

  • scene briefs from the team or creators;
  • references, images or Pinterest moodboards;
  • your own character, scene or visual idea;
  • a strong visual experiment that can be developed further.

MUTERRA and RAOLAX

MUTERRA is a far-future sci-fi world where adaptation is already part of civilization. Gene editing, cybernetics, body upgrades, AI integration, altered bloodlines, uplifted non-human species and advanced technologies are no longer rare. This is science fiction, not magic or fantasy.

RAOLAX is a long-range interstellar transport connected to one of the most important routes in this world. A ticket for such a journey costs a fortune. Around a thousand sentient beings were on board: elite passengers, specialists, prisoners, guards, cryo-sleepers, corporate agents, experimental units, uplifted animals, bio-cargo and unregistered passengers.

For this video task, do not focus on explaining the ship. Focus on the person or being who could become part of MUTERRA. Show an important moment in their life before RAOLAX: what makes them interesting, what makes them different, what they want, what they hide, what they fear, or what moment changes them.

Format

Vertical video for Reels / Shorts. Recommended length: 7–30 seconds.

Style: cinematic, atmospheric, high-quality. The video can be realistic, stylized, 3D-rendered, animated, archival, documentary-like or transmission-style.

Text: minimal. Sound: important.

Simple is acceptable. Careless is not.

Quality Requirements

No visible AI artifacts. No broken faces, hands, movement, transitions or random camera jumps.

No weak edits or unfinished animation. The video must feel intentional, not accidental.

We evaluate image quality, composition, camera logic, editing rhythm, atmosphere, sound, tension, and how well the scene fits MUTERRA.
