Character material
What is confirmed. What still needs work.
The Brightest Smile on RAOLAX
Some people make you feel safer.
Candy makes you forget, for a moment, that you’re in danger.
Candy is one of the most cheerful people aboard RAOLAX.
She laughs easily, jokes constantly and somehow manages to lift the mood of almost everyone around her.
Her humour can be surprisingly sharp, but it rarely feels offensive.
People don’t always laugh because the joke is funny.
Most of the time, they laugh because Candy genuinely enjoys seeing other people smile.
What We Know
“Candy” is the name everyone uses.
Whether it is her real name remains unknown.
She is unusually optimistic.
She talks to almost everyone.
She is curious, playful and naturally social.
She can make complete strangers feel comfortable within minutes.
Even in stressful situations, she somehow manages to lighten the atmosphere.
The Unusual Part
Candy is constantly accompanied by a police detective robot designated PK-42.
Wherever Candy goes…
PK-42 follows.
He accompanies her:
- through the corridors;
- during meals;
- in public areas;
- outside her cabin;
- even when she goes to the bathroom.
To everyone else, this behaviour seems unusual.
To Candy…
it seems perfectly normal.
Public Perception
Most passengers assume Candy must be someone important.
Some believe she is under police protection.
Others think she is a government witness.
Some quietly suspect she is actually a prisoner.
No official explanation has ever been given.
Candy herself almost never talks about it.
Personality
Established traits:
- optimistic;
- witty;

Behaviour & Speech
Candy talks a lot.
She jokes.
She teases people.
She enjoys making others slightly uncomfortable before making them laugh.
Her humour often catches people completely off guard.
She is one of the few people who treats robots exactly like ordinary people.
Including PK-42.
Character Dynamic
Candy and PK-42 have become one of the most recognisable duos aboard RAOLAX.
She treats him almost like a travelling companion.
PK-42 treats her as an assignment.
Where Candy brings warmth, spontaneity and emotion…
PK-42 responds with silence, logic and protocol.
Their personalities constantly collide.
Whether they realise it or not, they slowly begin changing one another.
