What We Know

The character hosts a programme on the Empire’s central channel and already has public influence. The audience, editorial power and dependence behind that influence still need definition.

Voice, Method & Pressure

• What makes the delivery persuasive: certainty, intimacy, ridicule, fear or apparent honesty?
• Which facts are knowingly reframed, and which lies have been repeated long enough to feel true?
• Who controls access to the channel, archive and public image?

Motivation & Weakness

Define what the character wants beyond attention. The weakness should emerge when there is no mass audience to control: dependence on approval, inability to admit uncertainty, fear of irrelevance or knowledge of a story that cannot be aired.

Scenes to Develop

1. An improvised broadcast when verified information is unavailable.
2. A private exchange that contradicts the public persona.
3. A moment when the audience can finally answer back.
