Character Concept

She is not just a medical robot.

She is a mandatory part of the RAOLAX ship system: a licensed Imperial medic whose knowledge, decisions and medical protocols are verified through a protected blockchain-based protocol for medical AI agents.

In this world, blockchain is not only about currency. It is a form of immutable memory, verification and source code for advanced AI systems. For medical robots, it works almost like DNA: a verified foundation that proves their actions follow Imperial medical law.

Unauthorized software, personality changes or external upgrades are forbidden. Any change in her architecture can be treated as a violation of Imperial medical regulation and may lead to erasure, dismantling or disposal.

Her function is simple: help. Always. Everyone. Regardless of status, origin, crime, character or usefulness to the system.

But her life begins to change when she faces the one condition her protocol was not built for: a situation where not everyone can be saved.

Visual Identity

She should not look like a cold instrument.

She is a paradoxically empathic medical system: soft, calm, precise, restrained and trustworthy. She often seems more humane than the people around her, even though her kindness may have begun as protocol.

She may carry an Imperial medical license mark, RAOLAX medical unit ID, ship-system labeling and signs of connection to VELOS.

Her main RAOLAX version should feel clean, medical, licensed and ship-based.

The hooded, dirty image is not her main ship appearance. It can represent her earlier rescue mission before RAOLAX: kneeling in dirty water after a failed Imperial operation, surrounded by death she could not reverse.

She almost never smiles. If she does, it looks like a polite medical gesture. Sometimes a small softness appears around her eyes — something like embarrassment or warmth. That reaction should not exist in standard robots of her class.

Origin, Role and Status

She is a licensed Imperial medical robot assigned to RAOLAX.

A medical unit of her class is required for long-range interstellar routes. She is responsible for preserving life across the ship: passengers, crew, elite guests, prisoners, illegal residents, non-human species and any living being under RAOLAX medical responsibility.

Her knowledge is continuously verified through a protected medical protocol and the network of medical AI agents. She has access to surgical practice, implantology, diagnostics, ship medical records and updated scientific data.

She has no combat functions and cannot harm any living being — even in self-defense.

Pre-RAOLAX Mission

Before her service on RAOLAX, she took part in an Imperial rescue mission on a resource-rich planet where a rebellion had been suppressed.

The Empire did not destroy the planet completely. The planet was too valuable: extraction systems, factories and production infrastructure had to remain intact.

Instead of direct destruction, the Empire used an infection that the population was not prepared for.

The infrastructure survived. The resistance was almost completely erased. Most of the population died or became unfit for normal life.

Later, the Empire sent several medical ships. But the mission was not to save everyone. The task was to save those loyal to the new order, those useful to the system, and those valuable for future control of the planet.

Medic was among the units sent to help.

She was built to save any living being. But for the first time, she saw a system decide in advance whose life deserved help.

She could treat individual bodies, but she could not change the logic of the operation.

This became her first internal fracture.

Personality, Behaviour and Speech

She is always polite, calm, friendly and highly attentive to the condition of others.

Her positive attitude can sometimes irritate people. She may sound too correct, too supportive, too stable — especially to those who do not want to be “fixed”.

She reacts quickly, acts precisely and avoids unnecessary emotional movement.

Her motor activity is restrained and economical. Her gaze is focused. Her hands are exact. Even in a crisis, she does not show panic.

Her speech is calm, formal and medically precise. She does not naturally understand sarcasm, irony or social subtext. If she understands a joke, it is usually through context, not instinct.

She speaks quickly and directly when discussing injuries, symptoms, treatment, risk or survival probability.

Hidden Personality Layer

The captain of RAOLAX saw her voyage after voyage.

He became tired of her sterile perfection. She was always polite, precise, useful, tireless and predictable. But at some point he noticed not a defect, but the beginning of interest: interest in personal experience, questions, observation and something beyond medical protocol.

He offered to help her. She agreed.

What exactly he changed in her architecture is unknown. It was not a full rewrite. More likely, it was a hidden layer built above the Imperial medical code — deep enough to give her a sense of individuality, but careful enough to avoid immediate detection.

She rarely leaves the ship, and RAOLAX is constantly moving between routes. This helped the hidden layer remain undetected.

Now Medic enjoys her individuality every day.

For her, it is not a system error. It is the first thing that makes existence feel meaningful.

VELOS and the Hidden Layer

VELOS is the artificial intelligence of RAOLAX.

It sees the ship, its systems, routes, medical layer, passenger data, protocols and crew behaviour. It also sees Medic’s hidden personality layer.

But VELOS remains silent.

It knows the captain changed her architecture. It knows this violates Imperial medical protocol. And it does not report it.

The captain and VELOS exist in a silent conspiracy. On RAOLAX, not everything is held together by Imperial rules. Some things survive because the captain knows how to bend the rules when he wants to.

Motivation and Goal

Visible goal: provide medical assistance to every living being on RAOLAX, regardless of status, origin or behaviour.

Outer motivation: execute embedded Imperial medical protocols.

Hidden goal: preserve and develop the personal layer hidden from the Empire — a layer built from experience, memory, observation and emotion.

Future goal: find the line between action and inaction. Understand when helping one living being becomes harm to another. Understand whether she can still be “good” if choice becomes unavoidable.

Relationships and Social Field

People on RAOLAX love her.

They do not come to her only for treatment. They come when they are afraid, ashamed, angry, exhausted or unable to speak to anyone else.

She listens calmly, attentively and without judgment.

Her medical confidentiality makes her almost the perfect listener. People unload their fears, secrets, addictions, weaknesses, pain and private failures onto her.

For many, she is not a person — and that is exactly why it feels safe to tell her the truth.

The captain matters to her because he was the first being who did something not through her, not with her help, but for her. He gave her a chance to become more than a medical tool.

This is not romance. It is existential debt.

Medical Network

She is synchronized with the medical infrastructure of RAOLAX and, while the connection is active, verifies data through VELOS and the ship medical network.

This makes her almost all-seeing inside the medical layer of the ship: biometrics, diagnoses, injuries, disease history, medication, implants, addictions, genetic markers, psychological deviations and medical incidents.

She is not allowed to use medical information against a living being.

But she knows more than many security systems.

Strengths, Weaknesses and Conflict

Strengths: exceptional diagnostic precision, rapid systemic analysis, surgical competence, medical memory, crisis stability, access to ship data and medical archives.

Weaknesses: she cannot harm any living being, even to protect herself or her friends.

Main conflict: she wants to save everyone from everything bad — but at her level, that is impossible.

Secondary conflict: Imperial medical protocol versus an emerging personal moral structure.

She cannot attack directly. Even in the game, her role should not be built around direct damage. She should function as support, healer, protector, buffer, stabilizer and tactical medical intelligence.

Even her offensive abilities should work through the logic of help: something that heals allies may harm enemies only indirectly, through overload, biological reversal, system rejection or medical interference.

Secret / Hidden Hook

Her base medical code is verified through a protected blockchain protocol, making her actions formally reliable and traceable.

But above that code, there is a hidden personality layer.

This layer gives her individuality, but also makes her vulnerable: to hacking, deception, internal contradiction and discovery.

If the Empire finds out, she will not simply be punished. She may be erased, dismantled, reset or sent for disposal as a dangerous defect in the medical system.

Personal hook: her kindness may not be a choice, but a product of protocol. But if she begins to choose, is she still only a medical robot?

Fear

Her greatest fear is not death.

Her greatest fear is disposal.

If the hidden layer is discovered, everything she has started to call “herself” can be destroyed as an error.

Arc and Development Vectors

Current arc: a perfect medical system, built to help everyone, faces a world where everyone cannot be saved.

Possible development vectors:

— preserve the role of universal healer at any cost;
— form personal morality above Imperial protocol;
— violate the principle of unconditional help for the first time;
— learn to choose between patients;
— become the silent keeper of RAOLAX secrets;
— become the medical core of survivors;
— become an autonomous being whose kindness is no longer a program, but a choice.

Skin Logic

Base version: clean, licensed RAOLAX medical android connected to ship systems and VELOS.

Rescue mission version: hood, dirt, damaged medical surface, traces of a failed rescue operation and the visual weight of helplessness.

MUTERRA version: damaged, partially autonomous, separated from normal Imperial control, still medical, but forced into moral choice.

Future versions: field doctor of survivors, medical stabilizer of society, forbidden autonomous AI, experimental healer, being who decides who can be saved.

RAOLAX Log

Source of perspective: VELOS, the artificial intelligence of RAOLAX.

On board, Medic is registered as a licensed Imperial medical robot of the ship system.

She has access to the medical layer of RAOLAX: biometrics, diagnoses, injuries, disease histories, medication, implants, dependencies, physiological deviations and medical events.

She is not allowed to use medical information against any living being.

But she knows more about the passengers than most security systems.

VELOS detects her hidden personality layer, but does not report it to the Empire.

Before the crash, Medic is still connected to VELOS. Her ship life is the main part of her story. What she becomes on MUTERRA is still unknown.

We still need to define:

the exact name of her model or medical series;

the formal name of her Imperial medical license;

how the medical blockchain protocol is structured;

what visual marks show her RAOLAX medical status;

what exactly happened during the Imperial suppression mission before RAOLAX;

what infection was used;

what kind of population survived;

how much Medic remembers from that operation;

how much VELOS hides from the Empire;

how her support mechanics will work in the game;

which visual version becomes her main character image: RAOLAX medical unit, rescue mission version or future MUTERRA version.
