Scene
Top-down view of a small private room suspended high above a huge futuristic city.
The room has panoramic windows on several sides. Far below, the city glows with traffic, towers, screens and moving lights.
In the center of the room is a circular bath / sensory pool. Navigator lies in the water. Foam covers her body and legs. She looks calm, almost bored, as if this is normal work for her.
Near the water floats a small personal scanning device — not a toy, not a fish, but a quiet police-grade sensor drone, shaped like a thin metallic manta / lens / floating compass. It slowly rotates above the surface and projects small light patterns into the water.
On a wall screen, a man’s face appears.
Beat 1 — Surveillance
Camera: very slow top-down push toward the bath.
Navigator lies still. Her eyes are half-closed. City light moves across the water. The screen shows a target profile.
Feeling: expensive isolation, control, professional boredom.
Beat 2 — What she sees
The image cuts into her vision.
Short flashes:
A man walking through a crowded future street.
The same man threatening someone with a weapon.
A close-up of his hand injecting / pressing a narcotic device into his body.
Fragments of his face, pulse data, route lines, police markers.
Navigator does not move. She is used to seeing ugly things.
Beat 3 — Wrong vision
A pause.
Darkness.
The sound drops out for half a second.
Then a low, heavy impact — almost like a distant rock cracking.
The vision changes.
Not the city. Not the target.
A creature from MUTERRA appears in a broken, alien environment. Something impossible. Something she should not be able to see.
Beat 4 — Wake
Camera: sudden fast push toward Navigator’s face.
She opens her eyes.
Her pupils are wide. All three eyes look directly into the camera.
For the first time, she is scared.
Final Frame
Black / water reflection / broken surveillance signal.
