The Lobby in MUTERRA is a personal NFT space representing the player’s status, achievements, and identity within the ecosystem.
It does not affect match balance, but it serves as a prestige, social, and economic layer — your visible mark in the MUTERRA universe.
1. Definition and Role #
The Lobby is a customizable 3D environment linked to a specific player account and stored as a unique NFT.
Its main functions are:
- displaying trophies and achievements from tournaments, events, and seasonal competitions;
- showcasing the player’s NFT collection (heroes, skins, artifacts, assistants, symbionts, and more);
- visualizing status and progress — MUTA holdings, lifetime spent, seasonal ranks, and milestones;
- acting as a social profile — your identity, visible to others across the ecosystem.
While it has no combat function, the Lobby defines your presence and prestige within MUTERRA.
2. Lobby as an NFT Asset #
Every Lobby is a standalone NFT — it can be owned, traded, or transferred both inside the game and on external marketplaces such as OpenSea.
Transfers are on-chain transactions that:
- require burning MUTA to pay royalties to creators/DAO;
- consume gas fees for blockchain recording;
- preserve ownership history (provenance) as part of the ecosystem’s transparency.
Thus, Lobbies follow the same economy model as:

3. Types and Rarity #
Lobbies come in multiple tiers, each with a distinct architecture, scale, and purpose:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Box / Capsule | A compact, entry-level space — minimal slots, basic customization. |
| Habitat | Expanded living environment with several sections. |
| Vault | A trophy hall and NFT repository — functional yet aesthetic. |
| Throne Hall | A grand hall of honor — trophies displayed as in a museum or royal court. |
Rare and unique Lobbies:
- feature custom presentation systems — camera paths, lighting effects, ambient sounds;
- symbolize status and influence in the MUTERRA community.
4. Displayed Content #
A Lobby is an interactive visualization of a player’s identity and progress.
Objects and data displayed may include:
- Trophies and medals from events, tournaments, or raids;
- Heroes and Skins — playable NFTs and alternate universe variants;
- Artifacts — NFT equipment and their recorded use in matches;
- Seeds, Symbionts, Parasites, Metamorphs — collectible or narrative-linked items;
- AI Assistants — owned or active ones;
- Statistics — matches played, victories, historical milestones;
- MUTA Profile — current stake, total burned, historical resource flow.
Everything is presented as a living exhibition: floating pedestals, holographic panels, or dynamic displays depending on the Lobby’s type.
5. Navigation and Presentation Modes #
The Lobby supports full 3D navigation and cinematic presentation:
- Overview Mode
- Wide camera view showing the entire hall or environment.
- Used to appreciate the scale and structure of the space.
- Exploration Mode (First Person)
- The player or guest can freely move through the hall, approach displays, and inspect objects.
- Each object may have a short description or voice annotation.
- Cinematic Tour Mode
- Predefined camera routes between key exhibits.
- The owner can customize paths and transitions.
- Guests can activate a guided “trophy tour”.
Camera behavior follows MUTERRA’s cinematic camera system, used in both gameplay and social spaces.
6. AI Assistant as Guide #
Each Lobby includes a simplified version of the owner’s AI Assistant acting as a host.
Functions:
- greets guests upon entry;
- comments on selected trophies or NFTs (“This artifact was earned during the Blood Season…”);
- speaks in the tone and style learned from the owner through gameplay interactions;
- can express personality — calm, sarcastic, formal, or emotional.
This limited version of the AI:
- inherits some communication settings from the main Assistant (language, tone, attitude);
- serves purely as a narrative and social guide, not as a combat coach.

7. Social Features #
The Lobby plays a central role in MUTERRA’s social layer.
Key Functions: #
- Player Showcase: Visible to others when hosting matches or joining parties. It’s your calling card — reflecting your experience, taste, and achievements.
- Group Meetings: Invite others into your Lobby for discussions, match reviews, or show-and-tell sessions. DAO members can use it for community events or mini-presentations.
- DAO Integration: Certain Lobbies can host DAO voting terminals or discussion panels. Seasonal contests such as “Best Throne Room” or “Living Museum” reward creativity and engagement.
Access Modes: #
- Public — open to all visitors.
- By Invitation — whitelist access.
- Restricted — only holders of specific NFTs or a required MUTA stake.
8. Customization and Growth #
The Lobby evolves along with the player.
Customization options include:
- choosing visual themes (Bio, Tech, Hybrid, Organic Cathedral, etc.);
- rearranging trophies and interactive displays;
- unlocking new sections for tournament prizes, artifacts, or legendary relics;
- upgrading or replacing your AI Guide.
Progress unlocks expansions via:
- gameplay achievements;
- ownership of special NFTs;
- DAO-approved content updates or seasonal rewards.
9. Connection to Gameplay and Economy #
While the Lobby doesn’t alter combat outcomes, it deeply connects the player to MUTERRA’s progression loop:
- motivates competition and achievement hunting through visible rewards;
- enhances NFT ownership value by making items socially visible;
- visualizes economic and governance layers — MUTA, DAO votes, marketplace history.
The Lobby unites three pillars of MUTERRA:
- Gameplay — the source of trophies and narrative milestones;
- Economy — NFT trading, MUTA staking, and royalties;
- Community — reputation, creativity, and DAO participation.
